Mary arrives on a donkey named Chester, which our local Heifer project supplies, along with 4 sheep, 2 Llamas, several goats along with baby goats. We have even had a camal in the procession. The procession arrives right down the center aisle of our church sanctuary. What an inspiration to all that see this! Each year we give ''Chester'' awards to participants who have performed in the pageant. Thus, the reason for 12 plastic donkeys. There are the Emmy's, Oscars, etc. etc. We have the ''Chester's.''
